Brooke is Peyton's former best friend and captain of the cheerleading squad. Biography

Early life
Bush, an only child, was born and raised in Pasadena, California to Charles William Bush, one of the top advertising and celebrity photographers working in the United States today, and Maureen, a photography studio manager. Bush attended Westridge School for Girls (Pasadena) and the University of Southern California and was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, where she served as Social Chair. She attended USC for three years before getting the role of Brooke Davis on One Tree Hill (2003). In 2000, she was the Tournament of Roses Parade Queen.
Career
Bush made her first big screen appearance in the comedy Van Wilder as Sally (the freshman who seduces Van and doesn't know who Air Supply is). Since then, she has made appearances in several television shows including Nip/Tuck, Sabrin the Teenage Witch, and Punk'd after being tricked by her friend Brittany Snow.
She was cast as Kate Brewster in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines but was replaced by Claire Danes as the director thought she was too young. In 2003 she won the role of Brooke Davis in One Tree Hill. The show is one of The CW network's biggest hits and is exported all around the world. It was here she met future ex-husband Chad Michael Murray, whom she would divorce a few months later.
In between working on One Tree Hill, Bush has been cast in many films, such as Supercross, Stay Alive, John Tucker Must Die and a remake of The Hitcher.
Sophia recently received a "Rising Star" award at Vail Film Festival for her work in The Hitcher.

Personal life
On April 16, 2005, Bush married actor Chad Michael Murray, her One Tree Hill co-star, but they announced their separation on September 26 after five months of marriage. Bush sought an annulment in February 2006. The reason is believed to be Chad had an affair with Paris Hilton. In December of 2006 Bush and Murray's divorce was made final. Bush is now dating Stay Alive co-star Jon Foster. The two have been spotted on several occasions, sometimes in very romantic circumstances. The relationship between Bush and Foster was confirmed as of 2006.
Sophia is said to be best friends with many hollywood starlets, including John Tucker Must Die co-star Britney Snow, and fellow One Tree Hill co-star Bethany Joy Galeotti.

Peyton is an interesting and unusual girl. Early life
Burton was born in Sterling, Virginia and grew up in a close-knit family with four siblings. Her father, Bill, is an antiques dealer and her mother, Lisa, is a real estate agent. She is the eldest of four, including herself. Her three younger brothers Billy, John and Conrad, consecutively. Hilarie attended Park View High School in Sterling, and was very active in the school's drama club, appearing on-stage in numerous productions. She also finds herself to be very much like her character was in highschool. She was not only in the drama club, but a cheerleader as well. She was also School President. Burton relocated to New York City and attended both New York University and Fordham University.
Career
Prior to her role on One Tree Hill, Burton worked as a VJ for the television show Total Request Live on MTV. She was supposed to be a guest commentator for one segment, but producers decided to offer her a permanent job. Burton appeared on the television series Dawson's Creek, and was cast as Peyton Sawyer, a high school cheerleader with an artistic side, on One Tree Hill, which debuted in 2003. She also unsuccessfully auditioned for the role of the coach's daughter in Radio. In 2005 she starred in Our very own opposite Jason Ritter. Personal life
Burton currently splits her time between New York City and Wilmington, North Carolina, where One Tree Hill is filmed. She has a cat named Poe (named after Edgar Allan Poe) and enjoys collecting antiques, knitting and crocheting. She is also married to Ian Prange, the son of an executive producer of "One Tree Hill". Burton's favorite musicians are David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Elvis Costello and Loretta Lynn. Her favorite TV show is Freaks and Geeks.

Biography:
James Lafferty was born on July 25, 1985 in Hemet, California. His acting career began in 1992 at age seven. He was encouraged by his mother to act as a hobby. She also urged his brother to act. He attended Hemet High School, where he played basketball for the Varsity team, earning him an MVP award and an All-League award.
At age 10, he earned his first speaking role. In 2001, he landed a role on the short lived television series, Emeril. He played Emeril's son. Lafferty also guest starred on Once and Again, Get Real, and Boston Public. This led to his role in the movie, A Season on the Brink. This was a basketball movie, about the 1985-1986 season of Indiana University's men's basketball team. It was based on the book by John Feinstein. James played the character of Steve Alford.
In 2003, he graduated from high school and enrolled at California State University, Long Beach, before receiving the role of Nathan Scott. He currently resides in Wilmington, North Carolina. Lucas Scott (played by Chad Michael Murray) - Lucas is the son that Dan never claimed, although Keith more than made up for the lack of a father figure in his life. Lucas has a serious heart condition known as HCM, which he concealed for a long time. Early life:
Murray was born in Buffalo, New York; he has three brothers (Rex, Nick, Brandon), one sister (Shannon Victoria Murray) and one half brother (Tyler). His mother left his family when he was 10 years old. His father (Rex), an air traffic controller, had to raise Chad and his siblings all by himself. He attended Clarence High School in his hometown of Clarence, NY. Murray describes himself as a loner in high school. At the age of fifteen, he began playing football as a kicker and punter. But when he was 15, a high school football injury landed him in a hospital where a nurse encouraged him to pursue a modeling career
Career:
Murray's first job was at the age of ten as a newspaper delivery boy, he also worked at a doughnut shop. In high school, Murray won a scholarship from a modeling agency in Buffalo to attend a modeling convention in Orlando. There, a manager named Jon Simmons from Los Angeles spotted him and persuaded the seventeen-year-old to pursue his dream of acting after graduation from high school. Under the guidance of Mr. Simmons, Murray turned his talent into major TV potential.
In 1999, the aspiring actor headed for Hollywood where he supported himself modeling for such clients like Sketchers, Hilfiger and Gucci before breaking into acting with a guest-star appearance on Diagnosis Murder in the episode The Cradle Will Rock. He slowly emerged to the limelight by taking roles in Aftermath, Murphy's Dozen and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Personal life:
Murray quoted that his role-models are fellow actors Edward Norton, Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro. He keeps himself in shape by working out at the gym, inline skating, playing soccer, volleyball and basketball, in addition to football pick-up games.
He was married to Sophia Bush in April 2005 but Bush filed court papers to have their marriage annulled in September of the same year. Chad was recently engaged to Kenzie Dalton, a cheerleader extra on the One Tree Hill set in North Carolina. She and Murray began seeing each other in December 2005 when she was only 17, and a senior in high school. She was runner-up in the Miss North Carolina Teen USA pageant, 2005. Murray and Bush's divorce was finalized in January 2007. Contrary to rumors, Murray has no intentions of reuniting with his cheating ex-wife.
